Rich Chocolate Cake Recipe – Sacher Torte Recipe

Sacher torte recipe ingredients:
- 280 grams unsalted butter, softened
- 300 grams sugar
- 200 grams cooking chocolate, melted
- 8 eggs, room temperature
- 180 grams flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
Chocolate glazing ingredients:
- Apricot jam
- 300 grams cooking chocolate, melted
- 1 cup whipped cream

Rich chocolate cake recipe instruction:
Mix butter with a sugar, add melted chocolate and egg yolks one by one, mixing it all the way.
Beat egg whites and stir it in the chocolate mixture. Pour flour and baking powder in it and mix it to become smooth and thick.
Pour mixture in the greased cake pan and bake it in in a preheated oven in 180°C for about one hour. Cool it on a wire rack.
Cut the cake in half horizontally, spread the apricot jam over the bottom half and cover it with the top half of the chocolate cake.
Spread the remaining apricot jam all over the cake and pour 300 grams of melted chocolate as a glazing on it. Cool it in refrigerator before you serve it.
Decorate your Sacher torte with a whipped cream.
